It is our goal to work with parents and children to provide a quality learning environment. Our collective success lies in our ability to communicate effectively and work together. We want all of our students to meet their academic potential, establish quality relationships with other students and staff, discover their individual talents, and enjoy the overall school experience.
Due to high winds expected tomorrow, which could create unsafe conditions for our buses commuting students to and from school, Tyrrell County Schools will operate on a remote learning day on Friday, November 15th.
The safety and well-being of our students and staff are our top priorities. Please check for communication from your child's teacher for specific instructions regarding remote learning assignments and expectations.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we take this precautionary measure.
Today, we pause to honor and thank all the brave men and women who have served our country. On this Veterans Day, we express our deepest gratitude for the sacrifices made by our veterans and their families to protect our freedoms.
To all veterans in our community and beyond—thank you for your service, your courage, and your dedication. We are forever grateful.
