Guidance

A state licensed school counselor is available at Columbia Middle for all students, teachers, and parents. The counselor's role is to help students have a successful school career through a program of services aimed at helping them learn and develop to their greatest potential. The counselor adheres to the professional and ethical standards and practices of the school counseling profession.

 

The school counselor may provide helpful information regarding community resources as well as student and/or family referrals to community agencies as necessary. She is available to interpret and discuss standardize testing and student records.
