Two Tyrrell County Schools employees have tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

Due to a concern for early morning unsafe road conditions, Tyrrell County Schools will operate on a Remote Learning Day for all students on Friday, January 29, 2021. In addition, all district buildings will be closed and meal deliveries will not operate tomorrow.

This will count as a regular school day, so students should check their emails and class learning sites for assigned activities.

In anticipation of a winter weather event overnight and into the early morning, Tyrrell County Schools will operate on a Remote Learning Day for all students on Thursday, January 28, 2021. In addition, all district buildings will be closed and meal deliveries will not operate tomorrow.

This will count as a regular school day, so students should check their emails and class learning sites for assigned activities.
