Mask Mandate in Effect for TCS Beginning January, 14, 2022
Tonight, during an Emergency Call Meeting the Tyrrell County Schools Board voted 4-1 to return to a Mandatory Mask Policy for the district.
Effective tomorrow, January 14, 2022 all students, staff and guests are required to wear a NCDHHS approved mask in all Tyrrell County Schools buildings. This information can be found at https://bit.ly/ncfcm.
The district will have extra masks on hand for individuals who may need one.
Students or staff members who had prior approved mask accommodations as a medical exemption are allowed to return to those previous measures.
