Due to the significant impact of flooding on the Town of Columbia wastewater treatment system, Tyrrell County Schools will be transitioning to remote learning on Thursday, September 26th, and Friday, September 27th.
We understand that this may cause some inconvenience, but the safety and well-being of our students and staff are our top priority.
Please refer to your child's teacher's communication for specific instructions regarding remote learning assignments and expectations.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will notify you as soon as we receive confirmation that the wastewater treatment system is back in operational capacity.
